Dr Michael is the most professional and patient music teacher I have ever come across. So when I was exposed to his tuition, I felt I had found the right teacher. He was able to stimulate my interest in piano, even though I was a complete non-musician. He is a great guide for students of any age and foundation. He focuses on developing a sense of music, respecting and recognizing the different experiences and understandings of the student, rather than just practising fingering, which is boring and makes it more natural for me to enjoy the piano. During my studies, I wanted the piano to add to my life outside of University, to add beauty and enjoyment to my life, and I hope that this enjoyment will continue throughout my life, which Dr Michael has obviously done, and I believe that with his help and guidance I will be willing to continue with my studies.
